The teenage footballers from Palestine, China, Brazil, and Norway are preparing for the big tournament, confronting a variety of challenges on their way. The pressure to succeed, high standards, harsh parents, and the difficult political situations in their countries – they all have an impact on how they feel and perform. On the pitch, they focus on the ball. After the games, they meet friends and their first sweethearts. The young players will learn that being the best is not the most important thing in life and that enjoying what you do is more valuable than the pursuit of success.
