Kids Kino Industry, international co-production forum
Kids Kino Industry (KKI) is an international co-production forum for films and series aimed at children and youth and a meeting place where industry professionals can exchange ideas and develop new content for young audiences.
Since 2017, Kids Kino Industry forum has become one of the most important events of this type in Eastern and Central Europe attended by more than 300 guests. The four-day agenda includes pitching presentations, 1:1 meetings, and a number of masterclasses, case studies, consultations, workshops, panels, and networking opportunities.
Kids Kino Industry is an excellent opportunity for producers and filmmakers to promote their projects and to find potential business partners.
In 2022, the event will be held for the second time in the hybrid format. First three days (27th–29th of September) will be held in Warsaw and online. The last day of KKI (30th of September) will be fully online.
KKI is an industry part of the Kids Kino International Film Festival.

Kids Kino Lab, script development workshop for scriptwirters + producers
An international programme dedicated solely to the development of script and production basics of films and series for young audiences. Our goal is to support the ambitious projects for young audiences, based on the highest artistic and production standards of European cinema.
12 teams work under the guidance of our script and producers’ tutors and international industry experts. The programme is based on individual and group work, consultations, and lectures and workshops with industry professionals.
Participants enter the programme with short synopsis and finish with second draft of the script together with production plan. Final workshop round takes place at Kids Kino Industry.
Among our tutors are:
- Philip LaZebnik (writers’ tutor – scriptwriter of Dreamworks movies – ex. Mulan, Pocahontas, currently working in Europe)
- Kirsten Bonnen Rask (writers’ tutor – previously consulting scripts of Lars von Trier and Urlich Seidl, currently writer, producer and consultant of many children film, head of South Norwegian Filmcenter)
- Ronald Kruschak (producers tutor – producer and writer, his films got many awards in Germany, some of them reached 1 mln audience)
- Armin Prediger (writers’ tutor – Armin has worked in the film industry for 30 years, 24 of those as a writer, head writer and script editor in live-action and animation).
